Studio Policies MelodiousOne Studios is committed to creating a supportive, encouraging learning environment where every student can grow with confidence. To maintain a productive experience for all learners: -Students are expected to arrive prepared and ready to learn. -Lessons begin and end on time to respect all scheduled appointments. -Families agree to stay updated through email reminders, text notifications, or the studio portal as applicable. -Guardians must remain on-site for students under age 12 unless arranged otherwise. -Food and drinks should remain outside the lesson area (water bottles are fine). Our goal is to uphold a space where creativity, discipline, and joyful growth work hand in hand.

Attendance Expectations Consistent attendance is essential for musical progress and long-term success. -Students are expected to attend all scheduled lessons each month. -Arriving late does not extend lesson time; lessons will end at the scheduled time. -If a student is sick, please notify the studio as soon as possible and consider a virtual option if the student feels up to it. -Excessive absences may impact readiness for performances, festivals, or ensemble placements. Our teaching approach is built on continuity — every lesson strengthens the next.

What to Bring to Your Lesson To maximize each session and support strong musical development, students should bring: -Their instrument (clean, assembled, and ready to play) -Method books, sheet music, or assigned materials -Reed(s), cork grease, cleaning cloths, or other maintenance items -A pencil for marking music -A notebook or practice journal (if assigned) -Water bottle -A positive, growth-oriented mindset We recommend two working reeds and one backup for every lesson.

Rescheduling & Cancellations We understand that life happens, and flexibility matters. To preserve fairness for all students and maintain a predictable schedule: Rescheduling -Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. -Rescheduling is completed through the online booking system or by contacting the studio directly. -Same-day reschedule requests cannot be accommodated. Cancellations -Cancellations made 24+ hours in advance are eligible for a makeup credit (within the same month). -Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are considered a missed lesson and are not eligible for a makeup or refund. -No-shows are forfeited without credit or rescheduling. We kindly ask families to honor these guidelines so every student receives consistent, high-quality instructional time.

Payment & Billing Clear financial guidelines ensure a smooth, stress-free experience for families. Lesson packages (4-pack, 8-pack, or monthly membership) are paid in advance to secure your time slot. Payments are processed through Wix/Stripe at registration or via recurring billing if enrolled in a plan. Missed lessons, late cancellations, or no-shows are non-refundable. Payments are non-transferrable to future months unless the studio initiates a schedule change. A late payment fee may apply after 5 days past due. Your ongoing support ensures we can maintain exceptional instruction, consistent scheduling, and high-quality resources for every student.
